I am starting to build my rotisserie and have run into a small problem with attaching it to my 1974. It seems that at some point the rear of the car was replaced with a 75-76 version, rubber bumper and all mad.gif . I know how to do the front, bolt on where the bumper goes. Has anyone done a late model rear? How did you attach it? Alternately, where would I drill the holes for a metal rear bumper, as I want to install one anyway? And would I need to reinforce for the rear bumper mount?

Thanks,

David T.

I did it. DEAD easy.

Bolt it right on to the bumper shocks. Boom. Done.

I did the front the exact same way I did the back.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if they were strong enough. If it worked for you it should work for me. After fixing the rust I am going to try to locate a steel or fiberglass rear bumper and paint it black to match the front so the shocks will go away at that point.
