Oil temp in my 75, 2.0 gets REAL high when ambient temp exceeds 85. Has anyone installed the cheap ($150) aux coooler tat bolts to the passengers side of tranny? I don't want to run one all the way to front bumper.

You might also want to spend some time finding out why your engine runs hot.
At 85 outside, your engine should not be overheating ...

+1, but I do have a passenger-side under-truck cooler on my car. Really only need it on 90+ stop-n-go traffic and at the track. Actually I don't even know if I need it at those times, but I sure do turn on the fan just in case.

Question should be, what is real high?
