After getting the entire wiring harness back in my car, and putting in my new engman fuse panel, somehow I managed to add a feature where the ignition coil wire loses power when the starter is cranking. As soon as I let up on the starter the ignition coil wire gets 12v again. I used this wire to power my subaru ecu before, but this new behavior doesn't work so well for starting. What could I have done wrong to cause this? Possibly hooked something up backwards on the fuse panel?

The wire is the T8 black wire on the 914 relay board pinout.

Found the wiring diagram I was looking for.

It looks like T8 goes to fuse panel #9. I must have hooked that up wrong on the fuse panel. I'll have to check that tonight.

Found the problem. The new ignition switch I put in last year is bad already. When cranking starter you have to hold the key just right to get it to make contact on #15 which leads to #9 fuse which leads to ignition coil. Time for another new switch.
