I saw this 914 on Nothern bvld in Great Neck ( long island) traveling east at about 6:50 pm today. engine sounds good. body needs TLC. The plate was a temporary tag, he may be a new owner or was that you porscheless????

No, wasn't me. Too much rain today, but I'd have been more than willing to help out....if I'd seen the request before now.
Hope the trip went well, looks like he may have made it between rounds of rain.

You saw this car Click to view attachment at the end of its maiden voyage after sitting since 1984. The new owner works at the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. There's a bit of metalwork/bodywork to do before the car can be repainted. We concentrated on the important things needed to make it roadworthy, so the owner can drive it to Florida next week, and back to LI a month later.
