Can someone please tell me what the size is for the outer rear suspension console to the trailing arm ears... when I tool the arms off my parts car all 6 bolts were rusted, siezed and snaped... blink.gif
Thanks,
Mike

8 mm, 13 mm wrench size.
MrHyde
What would be the thread pitch ? fine or coarse thread.. and length.. So I can find some new bolts... Thx
URY914
Course pitch. Don't know the length off hand but they don't bottom out in the hole so longer is not a problem.

I disagree. I think they're 10x55mm, 1.5 thread pitch. 900 074 192 01. But, of course, I could be wrong.

I seriously doubt that. You might read the q wrong, but the answer is right. beerchug.gif

I noticed a really nice replacement idea on Chris Foley's website.
Using a hole saw you can remove the threaded bung (with the broken bolt inside) and weld in a new replacement bung...

Having drilled out two broken bolts from a friends car I can honsetly say I would never try that again...
They are hardened bolts and you need to get cobalt drill bits to get them out, plus you need to build a centering tool so you can get in far enough, and in the center to drill them out.

Well I'll be putting the suspension on my new(ish) body.and it has good nut inserts in it. I just need to know what bolts to buy. :-)

8 mm, 13 mm wrench size.

That size might be big enough to keep your trailing arms in place Paul but most of us have cars which weigh more than 2000lbs. biggrin.gif

Just to confirm... Cap'n is correct.

For all of these types of questions, there's no source like the horse:

Nope. I just checked my car( Easy to do being it's on jack stands. sad.gif )

They are 10mm, 17mm wrench size.

The Cap't was correct. (As is the norm.) rolleyes.gif
