* One 0280.100.027 - This one LEAKS. (Prof. 914 says the 027 was replaced by 037 ... Application is '69 - '71 VW 411E 1.7L)

IIRC it's only the -039 which applied to the 73 2.0, and maybe the 73 1.7 too. Maybe those applied to the 74 or 75-76 2.0s?
According to a few different sources, 0280.100.037 was specifically for the '73 2.0L, and if utilizing the '037' ECU.
