Movie Description:
Senna’s remarkable story, charting his physical and spiritual achievements on the track and off, his quest for perfection, and the mythical status he has since attained, is the subject of SENNA, a documentary feature that spans the racing legend’s years as an F1 driver, from his opening season in 1984 to his untimely death a decade later. Far more than a film for F1 fans, SENNA unfolds a remarkable story in a remarkable manner, eschewing many standard documentary techniques in favor of a more cinematic approach that makes full use of astounding footage, much of which is drawn from F1 archives and previously unseen.

~ "No Fear, No Limits, No Equal" ~ See More

Cap'n Krusty
Lyn and I drove down to West LA this afternoon and saw Senna. One of the best documentaries I've ever seen, and it's 100% archival footage. Much of the commentary is in his own voice. You need not be an F1 fan to enjoy it, and it's not just a "guy film".

See it while you can. Make time, because it may not go into "general release". After all, it's a documentary, not mindless violence driven fluff.

I might drive my 914 to work Friday, so I might drop by this event. Right near my office.

I merged the two Senna threads together. I am HOPING that it comes near me, but York being the backwater that it is.... I wait for Hulu or something I guess.

Landmark Theaters has it out here, and they have a couple of venues in Philadelphia. Might be worth checking with them. You're closer to them than I am to Los Angeles, where I saw it .......................

We should meet up at the theatre in Palo Alto at 6PM (give people enough time to get home and clean up from work) and then see the 9:30 showing....

Good plan. I think the 7:00 show may be sold out. I got tickets for 7:00 last week, but might see you on the way out. I'll be the one in the red 914.
