The front and rear trunk lids on my car sit about 1/4 inch high all the way around. Do yours fit flush?

Alfred,
the hoods are adjustable.

loosen the nuts where the hood is attached to the hinges, move the hood up/down. loosen the lock and adjust that too. make sure you don't have any rubber seals that stick up.

ops, my bad, look next post further down for correction ...

same for the front/back hoods.

Thank you, Andy. ( I suppose that I should read the factory manual more).

Somebody said they're American Racing wheels. Anyone want to make an even trade for four original Fuchs? tongue.gif

Huh?

I thought the nuts on the hood were to adjust the hood side/side, and fore/aft.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong. confused24.gif

SirAndy
actually, it's where the hood-hinge is attached to the body where you do the up/down adjustement ...

NOT where the hood attaches to the hinge ...

I've never looked there for a place to adjust. Thank you, Andy!

I've never noticed either. Thanks!

Also, you can't really adjust side-to-side with the bolts on the hinges. The
slot really is elongated only for adjustment front to back. But you can make
it or unmake it cockeyed by moving them a different amount.

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

Too much information.
