I like how you lined up the RT-66 reflection on the car, John thumb3d.gif

We need to get enough cars together to 'spell out' 914 and see if LaMonica will take you up in his whirly-bird to snap some aerial shots idea.gif

What happened here?

IPB Image

About 60 miles outside of Phoenix there was a one vehicle roll over. The SUV ended up in the median so there was no actual impact to traffic other than curiosity. However, they did have to stop traffic for about thirty minutes so a couple of air-evacs could land on the highway. sad.gif Hopefully they will be ok....
MoveQik
The stopped traffic did make for a good spot to stretch the legs and I got a pretty good shot of the car.

NARP's in Brazil!

WTF.gif How in the Fuch did you get a white long-sleeve, Eric? mad.gif

My wife likes the [darker] brown shirt, John. thumb3d.gif
She would have preferred a v-neck, but the color made it OK.

I've had a few people 'round here say, "Congrats on retiring at such a young age, but you don't have to rub it in with all those Porsches, do you?" blink.gif

Took me a while to put it together, but apparently they were thinking "National Association for Retired People" ... apparently they are very politically-correct.
euro911
I was having breakfast in the hotel on Sunday morning and someone asked me about my NARP shirt and all the 914s in the parking lot. I told them I didn't know anything about those funny little cars and that NARP stood for "National Association of Railroad Passengers" laugh.gif ... I think they knew I was joking.

Nelson, I'm a little surprised that you didn't know that NARP also stands for "Nuclear Accident Response Procedures" blowup.gif

Are we gonna have narpotics officers, too? If so, I vote for Joe Sharp as the "High Sheriff" of Narpville. shades.gif

Heheheh, that's a term the military/DOD uses, not so much in the DOE/NRC world(s). Believe me, I've been wanting a chance to use the car club version, maybe wearing a t-shirt to work, but no one would get it. True, where I'm at now I could just walk across the street to the Air Force buildings but that seems like an awful lot to do just to make a lot of people look at me funny. That already happens without any effort on my part at all. blink.gif
