Quick question but the Pelican Parts instructions just says to remove the electrical connection to the master cylinder.

Q) Does it just pull straight out?
Q) Do you loosen the bolt just behind the electrical connection?
How exactly do you remove it?

My rubber boot is about to self destruct .....

IIRC its just a spade connector. The master cylinder side being the male end and the wire being the female connector.

If you're removing the wires, they just pull off.
If you're removing the whole switch, it unscrews.

Not really sure what project you're working on though...

i just swithced from a 17 to a 19. the 17 has 2 conectors, the 19 has 1.

Yes.

You simply tape up one connector and only use one. Works just fine ...

Yes. It does. Use the brown/white wire on the switch. Tape up the brown wire, as it's just a ground.
