I am going to convert a 2.0 engine with 3 stud heads to L-jet , My question is this: Will the 2.0, 3 stud intake runners fit to the 1.8 Ljet plenium ? or will I need to modify.

I don't think so. The 2.0 plenum is wider than the 1.8. I would just drill the 1.8 intakes. I think you just need to drill one hole for the lower middle stud. Someone else chime in who knows for sure. I'd say I am 75% sure & make no claim to being a genious blink.gif

Yes they will. You have to use slightly longer hoses to connect them to the plenum, but they work just fine.

I have a 914 in the garage with a 2.0 engine and L-Jet right now. It was driven to Salt Lake City and back in July this way.

You will lose some HP on the 2.0 due to the small throttle body for the 1.8L.

You can't drill the 1.8L intakes and make them work on a 2.0 head. The two outboard studs are spaced different.

This is a picture of a 2.0 head with a 1.8L runner over the stud on the left. The right stud doesn't match up.
