Nope they are standard 71 914 chomeys. I just took the pic from a 916 point of view.
Mine barely goes anywhere..... 
So far the fastest mine has been for me is on the trailer.

Just guessing here, and don't want to offend, but I think you're a reasonable guy and pretty sane in spite of evidence to the contrary, so I'd say you probably got prudent and backed off around 120mph.
