Folks with Carbs,
Do you run 1 filter or 2?
I found 2 on my project car, I'm inclined to remove one but what do you guys do?
My feeling is that one filter should be enough, and I'd rather have fewer points where a leak could start

I run three...one before the pump and one before each carb. So far the carbs have not had any junk in them!

is there a down-side of multiple filters?- IE increased drag?

I've never noticed any problems or draw backs with my multiple filters.

Thanks!
After working through it last night, I realized that the second filter in some ways made it easier when running the hard line through the chassis.
Now I have two filters after the pump, so I need to chase it back and see if the PO put a filter between the tank and pump. The good news is that I know the gas flowing freely from the tank to the lines where the filters are because I was able to drain the tank from them..
