Yup. I actually felt more bad for her. She backed into it in her car....which doesn't even have the plates on it yet. She came in almost crying to tell me about it.

I didn't get the transaxle replaced in the 911 either. So I'll be in the DD beater.

Happened to the Alien. Remember the rear lid I picked up at your house? Women in tears is the worse thing a man can ever see. Cars can be repaired. Feeling are much harder to fix. I don't have anything in my tool box for that.

Too bad I won't be out here now next week. I would have loved to join you guys. I have driven the route before in my 914 a few different times. I would have had to borrow my dad's ride. It's not a bad one for a almost 80 year old either.

I'd love to see some of the local 914's and was originally thinking of joining you guys (in my Jetta GLI as the 914's are still in Iowa), but my son and I are going to the Zone 8 Festival of Speed at Fontana. Wish they weren't the same weekend!
