I simply cannot do metric carpentry or cabinet making. Every adult is two meters tall. beerchug.gif

Centimeters my friend, centimeters ...

Carpentry in Germany is done using centimeters and millimeters.
Millimeters is usually enough resolution for anything that one builds by hand.

smash.gif

2 m ~= 6 1/2 feet

2 m = 200 cm = 2000 mm

So, using millimeters, you get about a 2000 resolution for 6 1/2 feet.
That should be plenty for any cabinet.

Metric. Andy was just rounding off for simplicity sake; the actual conversion using millimetres would bring you to the equivalent of measuring in 1/64ths of an inch.

Moving the business is going to be quite an adventure, I think it would be a good idea to have a picking party. I don't think George is the type to crush a 914 if it can be avoided.

I still don't know how the hell we're going to move EVERYTHING there, one piece at a time I guess.

After viewing the facility, if you try to move anything it will become pieces!

I'm so old I use cubits!
I thought you were still drawing lines in the dirt!
Pedo-CAD?

George probably misunderstood that the scrapper's offer of $20k was for everything George has ...

Ya know, some ice down some soda and beer, fire up the grill and serve hotdogs and hamburgers... it could be one hell of a party.

I picked up a rear valance of of eBay. It was from AA. I knew that it would ba a risk, but what the heck. Good news first. It was shipped in a timely manner. It was boxed and packaged very nice. Price was not to bad. Bad news is the part looks like it has been sitting in this field for years. It in no way fits the car. It is a fiberglass part, so I can make something out of it. It helps knowing if you purchase anything from them there is a high chance it will be no good, and if it is good it is a pleasant surprise.
