Sucks that guy didn't tape off the stuff that he easily could have. Not that you really care on a racecar, but with the amount of time he had it, you'd have thought he would.

He was adament about not wanting to paint the interior of the car (something about the dust it would put every else ) even though he shot the engine compartment & both Trunks. Oh well, I have a plan for that. I'm very pleased with the Paint, especially the price

I know you have a plan...However, I think you should consider picking up some more paint to match....mask and paper the car off...and paint the interior!

Yes I have a Plan - The Jams are Painted as are the Interior of the Doors. The Floors & Fire Wall will be Line-X so it will be durable & have a grit non-slip surface

I also have a Plan for the Cage, even though a good section of that is already yellow & will covered with Roll-Bar Padding

Still looking for a plow truck for this year if you are looking to sell it.
Seems setup perfectly so it may be just right with the proper splitter on it.

Yep, but this was this was the 1st Garage Casualty - it fell while the car was going up on the lift & chipped a Corner. No Biggie!

I'm thinking about cutting 2 Sections from that 1st Spoiler & making Taller Extensions, like this;

Its about 5-6 years old on this site.
He used the 914 in a class over several years to play around with wings, roof on or off...all of that.

Might shed some light on what wing would work best.

My "Seat of the Pants" feel of driving 914's at speed, tells me this will be good for Sebring where the ass-end wants to lift in Turns 14 & 17 (High Speed).

The additional bits I could experiment with or at least try to compete with the Wing that blocks out the Sun - the URY Lightweight!

Progressing quickly! Whens your first race?

I was aiming for Savannah in October, but that is not going to happen. I don't want to run the 1st time @ Daytona & that is the weekend of the Tropical Ramble. There are a couple of PCA DE's towards the end of the year. Sebring HSR is in Dec, so that is a maybe. Then in '14, HSR @ Sebring, PCA 48 Hours of Sebring, SVRA Sebring....

It's friggin Hot, so I already put a couple of Hours on the car this AM!
