I have a front 5 lug assembly that I believe is a direct bolt on to the spindle....come to find that the bearings are larger than the original spindle...further reading on Pelican says that the 911 has a "beefier" spindle..... Now what? Replace front spindles? Or?
gothspeed
how much bigger are the bearings? Is the offset otherwise ok? Looks like you might need 911 spindles to match your 'larger' hubs.

You cannot put a 911 hub and rotor on a 914.

I just did this. I replaced the whole thing.

agree.gif you need 911 struts at this point. So...

New Struts
New Inserts
New Calipers

Or, some drilled -4 rotors. I "might" have one pair left in late style.

Much larger....looks as if I will be purchasing some 911 spindles...man I thought it was going to be a bolt on....with the rear, I received the entire swing arm assembly, so I'm not as concerned...
