The old ones fell out in little pieces when I removed the t-bars. I've looked at the bird, PMB, elephant and can't find new ones. I'm sure I could make some that would work…does anyone know where I can find new ones?
Thanks

Do you mean this part??

That is a rear torsion bar cover seal for a 911.
Pelican has them. Bought some recently. Same part for a 911. They do not always catalog some of the same parts that fit a 914 as fit the 911.

Boy, I didn't even notice if mine had them or not. Guess I need to by a few. (2? 4?)

What are they used for? To keep the bars centered? Is there serving else that can be used?
partwerks
According to the second post, it has nothing to do with centering?

They are supposed to keep dirt and water out. Does not appear to be much more that a closed cell foam donut.

I believe they are still available from Porsche. I recall I ordered mine from the dealer believe it or not.

I might be wrong. I am getting old and it was over a year ago...

Yeah, looks like a $6 part. I'll swing by the dealer tomorrow. I ought to start getting to know them anyway.

They're available on EBay! There is an ongoing listing for them.
