That was me trying to post the last 3 pics. Not sure what happened.
The yellow slant nose might look better without the rear window slats. It looked to be nicely done.
The red one is mine doing the AX with an instructor. Forgot to deflate tires for the ride home. Thing rode like a tank.

Owner told me it is an original six. It's also for sale 25k. Not my style either. One weird thing is the complete engine lid & trunk lid are still under the louver panel. He wanted to copy a Ferrari F40.

I looked at the car. It is not an original six. It has a 475 VIN number.

That's a relief. Still, why ruin a 914 to tell the world you have a tiny winkie.

He told me it was an original 6, and I pointed immediately to the vin tag and said, "they didn't make the 6 in 75...or ever with a vin that starts with a '4' "
He didn't respond.
I can appreciate the engineering that went into the back window, trunk, and engine bay. They all opened up real nicely. The interior was also clean and nice.
It's not my cup of tea, and I imagine he's going to have a lot of problems finding a buyer at 25k

I think the window looks identical to a late 80's Camaro.

Strosek has made a lot of money building those things. Then again so did DP, and Gemballa.
