I dont have the transmission knowledge like Dr evil, but .03mm is equal to .001 thousandth of an inch. which is about a 1/3 of a human hair. I highly doubt the difference will effect much.

But I am using my experience with machining and tool building, not engine or transmission building.

After thinking about this more last night, the small amount of wear shouldn't cause any problems with the input shaft seal
