Drooping when up, or drooping when down?
Aaron Cox
mostly when down......maybe a little when up

There is an adjustment knob at the top of each headlight motor to bring the sitting position of the headlight up or down.

if it's low when raised, check the adjustment stop screw on the back of the bucket assem. it might be too tight.

Aaron,

That black knob is NOT an adjustment screw. All that knob does is turn the motor.

Take the relay cover off. There are 3 allen screws that hold the pivot.

Loosen the screws. Move the headlight into position. Tighten the screws.

Gary.

that is what i thought, those are to raise the Headlights if motor is toast....but would this work:

unplug battery, raise headlight to proper position, then plug the battery back up?

NO

There's a position sensor on the motor. It will go right back to where it was.

Try this experiment:

Unplug motor.
"adjust position" (with black knob, if you want.)
Plug motor back in.

After that, and you'll understand.

yep, they go right back to their stupid behavior! so what way do i reposition the pivots?

TIA

PS...what is this smiley doing?
