While I was looking for some info on the IMSA 914/Fiero tread I found this story. The guy gives a very detailed discription of is build up of a fully tube frame Fiero. He has a 412 CID SBC with 645 HP running thru a 930 tranny.

VEHICLE SUMMARY:

Engine:
-VanderLey Racing 412ci Small Block Chevy at 13.9:1
-Prototype Pontiac 867 Heads
-645 HP at 6700 rpm
-534 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm
-Redline: 7500 rpm

Suspension:
-Fabricated by E.J. Trivette (original manufacturer)
-Fully adjustable
-7th IMSA Fiero he has built or modified.

Chassis:
-Full tube chassis to SCCA race specifications
-Not an original Huffaker Chassis (I didn’t cut up an original!)

Body:
-Original Pontiac IMSA/Drag Car Prototype Body.
-“0001” prototype code verified by John Callies.

Performance:
- ¼ mile: 10.5 sec at 137 mph (est.)
- 0 to 100 mph: 5.0 sec. (est.)
- Top Speed: 215 mph (est.)
