I would also paypal to see that she gets the medical care she needs. I'm a major furry kid person as we call them (we don't refer to them as dogs) they are kids. So I will be more than happy to make a donation to make sure she gets what she needs. What do you say all? Can't we spare a little to get her taken care of?

my parents have had a dashound for about 12 years, they got her from the vet, because the previous owner didn't want to pay for a full hip replacement, so the doc patched her up, and my parents paid the bill, and that dog has been the happiest thing... she just can't jump down off the couch(which she gets scolded for being on anyway )

if she can get around fine, and doesn't hurt her, I say spoil the hell out of her otherwise... and save the surgery for if it ever DOES become a real issue... and we'll be happy to pitch in!!

You can always call her "Tripod"
or "Tres" (Spanish for 3, pronounced "trace")

A relative of mine had a dog that was completely missing a leg. I nicknamed him Tripod. An interesting thing this dog would do: He would always chew one leg off of any plastic animal toys the kids left laying around. Struck us as funny, but fascinating. Guess he thought the other animals needed to be like him.
