I'm reassembling my Dells. Which way do the lower venturis go in? With the number towards the top?

Tapered side up, square side in first.

Said differently, the "34" end should be pointing out the top of the carb.

The narrowest end goes up. If I remember correctly the numbers go up.

Hi,
Big end up narrow end down. Dont make me open my dell crate to check.

Tapered end up to transition the incoming airflow from the large carb throat to the narrow venturi throat. The square end goes down to ride on the square bottom of the carb throat.

If yours is not that way...well, it's wrong and you're creating turbulent airflow and reducing power.
