My 1st job out of school was in Textiles. I visited a former textile town last weekend. Someone did a nice job on the side of this textile warehouse and there was no traffic, so I took a picture. Greenville, SC.

I have forgotten how good my car looks from 30 feet! And that the Aerospace 303 stuff works great on the tires.

Posts 241 and 242 represent the first teener I've owned (a marathon 4) and the last two (both light ivory sixes)

I am thinking that the one pictured #1088 may be the car I sold back in 83. Never kept the vin but 1088 rings a bell. Jack, did that car come from Texas??

No, I bought this one new in 1970. Ordered through a travel agency for Euro delivery so I could drive it while stationed in Germany. Picked it up in Brussels, then drove 18 mos, then shipped home. Developed rust in the floorboards which wasn't noticed until I took the seats out for reupholstery. Got a sub par patch job, and couldn't bring myself to put it back together in that shape, so it languished in various garages (and shops when I had money) from 1983 until just recently. I had to raise a son to be an automotive restoration painter, and he redid the body over the last 3 or 4 years, painting it a couple of times until he felt it was presentable.

needless to say, it will remain in the family for the foreseeable future.

My 914 reflected in the side of a 59 VW bus I painted last year. Hope the photo is not too large in size.

Story behind the pic- Today we were having a build party at Jims (banananose914). His car is the tangerine 6 in the garage. SoCalAndy's yellow 6 was parked in the driveway. When we opened the garage door, this is the "vision" we sawClick to view attachment

This might not count because it's a 3D model I made, but I think it's artsy and fartsy.
