On the solenoid on my starter there are two sets of spade connectors.

One closest to the starter, in between the power cable and one on the outer side of the solenoid further away from the starter, on the other side of the power wire.

Where should I connect the yellow igntion wire?

I would try them both but I'm afraid Ill fry my new harness.

I have a battery cable and a power cable attaced to the same area and the yellow spade wire

Am I missing anything?

I connected mine on the spade further away from the starter moter. I read (can't remember where- pelican maybe... reliable source I know) that they are both to the same pole on the solinoid, just two alternate locations depending on need.

Both terminal spades are electrically connected. So either one is fine.
