I have a side-shifter that came out of a '75 IIRC. When I looked on the spline along the bottom for the 901/XX number to try to have some idea of the gearing, all I found was "HA 20 06 5" stamped near the reverse switch.
Where do I look to try to find out more about it before I crack it open and start counting teeth?
Also, does anyone know the gears in a 914/01 type transmission?
Thanks.

Just to be clear--what Pancake is saying is that you don't have a 914/01 trans coming out of a 75. It's a regular side-shift 914 trans, with the same gearing as all stock 914-4s.
