Full Version: leaky fuel rail screw

The screw on the fuel rail appears top be leaking. Not spraying gas everywhere, but a very small "seeping". It's screwed on tight and has a regular metal washer. Does it need a gasket of some sort?

I noticed the PET calls for a "sealing ring", not a washer. NA at Pelican and no part number for just the sealing ring.

Will my FLAPS have a gas-proof washer I could use?

I think I may have answered my question. Found this on TheSamba:
The Aluminum Crush washer is 4 mm diameter and not copper.
and is available from www.pelicanparts.com if you can't find one

You can use an aluminum washer as it will crush down. I do suspect that a stainless one would work also, but I haven't tried that.
