It just struck me looking at your picture is that there is nothing holding that cap on the MPS on.
Where are the rivets or screws that hold it on? Did you take them out?

I took the screws off since I was taking off the cap 4 or 5 times to make sure I didn't do anything wrong.
Post the # on the MPS?
