Also, use something natural for lube, like butter, or olive oil...

KY is very hard to explain away.

Miles, have you considered... BTW, I tried to post this on the mystery website but it doesn't take pix unless you download them to a public site first. So let's continue to mess up our own place biggrin.gif
Dead Air
Hey there Cap't
My car is silver so I thought it was aluminum bodied...The detonation/timing was off so I thought it was a desiel, I saw springs in back so I thought they were Macpherson struts...
I thought the pop ups were pneumatic...
the roof was plastic...
It was a Corvair engine...
the brakes were mechanical...
and my sister-in-law had exima...
Does that make me all bad?
I'm just trying to help...

Mueller....I really don't like being misquoted....in the 915 or 901 post only 1 person used the "sounds like" message and that was me.  Unfortunately you misquoted me....I said:

"the 915 in my 911 has reverse to the far right and down. 1st is far left and up..2nd straight down...etc etc. Sounds like you have a 901. "

So, if we are going to use good examples of folks who don't know what they are talking about, let's at least be accurate in showing inaccurate responses.

Jim,

It was not your response I had in mind...this was the 1st answer posted to the 901/915 question:

QUOTE
well the shift pattern is no different than a 901.....dont know anythin else

I read that as stating that the shift patten he was discribing his car having was no different than a 901, but perhaps I was interpreting it wrong so it would be a right answer. smile.gif

exactly my point, thanks bondo for understanding.......

Wait a second. Could it be that it IS possible to turbocharge a 914?

Some people have a lot of posts to correct if that's true.

Post all your turbocharged 914 pictures here. biggrin.gif

We also need to make sure that quote is in the quote "Hall of Fame". It has to be the best.
