Got a call from Dennis. Stated he had a clutch cable issue. He had it repaired but then was told he had a cracked injector. The shop did a search and located an injector but it was like $ 200.00. WTF.gif

I do not know the source the shop used to get that price but $ 200.00 seems really high. Any good source for replacement injectors?

Dennis is looking for a new injector source.

Slim pickings out there. I could only find a few listings for compatible 2.0 injectors. All but one was out of country, and the one I found in the U.S. had a $300 price tag. blink.gif

I have all my original that were sent out and cleaned and flow tested perfect so once I get my motor pulled I might be willing to part with the set of 4 that I have in the car now- they are only 3 years old or so, I got them from Otto, spoke to him on the phone the day I ordered them- they were part of a lot he bought from bosch before they quit making them I believe. it might be a few weeks before I can get at them- I do hesitate to sell them all just in case I have one go bad too- so I have not decided whether or not I would sell just one or the matching set of 4.

Send me a PM Rick if you want to discuss.

$200 sounds about right unfortunately.

Rick,

The only 2 sources that I know of for the original NOS 2.0 injectors are AA & HPH, & both were about $150-200-ish last I saw, but I don't know their current prices.

Good Luck! beerchug.gif

Not cheap, at least for '73-74 2.0.

I spent an hour checking out some of my sources. I even tried ebay overseas in several countries. Seems there are NO Bosch injectors available thru parts dealers I could find. Does some one have the inside to connect with Bosch Classic? You have to be a dealer.

GB is no longer doing refurbished.

038 seems to be identical to 019 in Bowlsby's chart, confused24.gif
Any differences between the 73-74 2.0 and 75-76 2.0 injectors?

I think the latency period is slightly different......probably for emissions.

Did 75-6 get lock on electrical connectors rather than the rubber boot type?

speedy914
No. 75-76 still the same connector. I very recently bought 4 injectors from RockAuto.
Not Bosch of course, but they do seem to work fine. Car is stock and runs great.
(there are some NOS one out there, might have seem some at Aase maybe?

I've used this to search for specs on 90's Bosch parts http://www.bosch-automotive-catalog.com/en/product-search
