Removing A/C unit from 914,1.8. It's for sale. Has the condensor, console controls, drier, some hoses, compressor.
Not sure where to re-route the belt from alternator. I think it just goes back to the fan. Any ideas? This compressor (York) is easily accessible from the bottom.Click to view attachment

AC compressor runs off a pulley behind the cooling fan.
There is a spacer and the pulley, the passenger side cooling tin is usually cut to allow the belt to pass through to the pulley. The fan shroud needs to be removed to install the pulley.

don't do it leaves too many holes, right front sheet metal needs to be patched and you lose 1500 dollars value
