I let my car sit in a storage unit only for a couple weeks and I went over and it won't start. It ran fine when I dropped it off. It is a 3.0l six with PMO carbs. The last time I let it sit for a while I had to dump gas directly into the carbs. I tried that again this time but no luck. Any other ideas on how to get it fired up?

See if it runs on starter fluid.

Is that bad to use? I have JE high compression pistons.

Fuel does not last.
Dump the fuel, change the filter.
You may also need to clean out the bowls of the carbs.
I would suggest you put a physical shut off in the fuel line prior to the filter, then when you go to store it, shut the fuel off while it’s running and let the motor suck out the line and carbs till it dies.
Typical old car storage technique to keep carbs clean .
