Clutched seemed fine (never realloy dove it far). I put the foot board in and I would grind gears while engaging. I adjusted the clutch cable and the grinding almost stopped (really only when putting in reverse). I took the car out and all seemed fine, then it seemed the clutch was sliping a little, then a whole lot. Is it just in need of adjustment or new clutch.

So you tighten it, it works, then it starts failing, so you tighten it, and ..

Clutch cable is about to snapola.

Also, when you put a new cable in, adjust it so there is no action for 3/4 of an inch, then the clutch starts disengaging.. and there should be room at the of pedal on the other end of play, where it's floating, and completely disengaged, before the stop.

BETTER CHECK THE CLUTCH TUBE, TOO!!!!!! Common failure, with just the symproms you describe. Also look at the roll pin in the clutch pedal. The Cap'n
