My '75 2.0 throttle body is leaking vacuum thru the throttle shaft. Can I buy a kit to reseal? Bushing kit? Or does it need to be sent to someone that rebuilds them? I searched a few World vendors, but no luck. I thought there was someone here that rebuilds them, but I can't find him now. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I followed Marcus' ( @R3dplanet ) rebuild instructions. Worked well, and I have some of those bushings left over, I think. If you want one (or two), let me know (after I find them).

Got 'em! Four work ok? PM me with your address and I'll try to get in the mail soon. I also have the reamer Marcus recommends. Let me know if you want to borrow that.

One note: I think I didn't do a great job reaming it initially, and then the first bushing I tried to press in kind of got wonky. Result was a throttle body that wouldn't move freely. Second time it worked better. So make sure the bushings go in firmly but without any distortion. That's why I'll send 4 instead of 2 smile.gif

I've been pleased with our Type 4 throttle bodies being serviced by
RC Engineering, Torrance Cali.
They also can mod the i.d. for slightly larger dia, and supply the larger brass butterfly smile.gif

RC Engineering has also modified the T/B on our bi-turbo flat fan 914, so they do most makes/ models for the hot rod community. AND built the 8 high flow / super duty fuel injectors for the 914-8gtt.
They are a full service efi shop driving.gif
