i want to know if i can get the vdo dual sender to work with this gauge? if not- can i retrofit it?

Somewhere out there on the net is a list of which 911 gauge corresponds with which sensor.

Can someone post a link?

Now if it will fit in the 4 cylinder, I am not sure...

Problem is that you lose your gas gauge (if your going to put this left of the tach).

There a guy, can't find the link now, that builds a combo gauge with all the senders. Its like $500!

I put a guage like that in my car, took out the clock and put in a VDO gas guage in its spot then put a head temp guage where the old oil temp. guage was. everything works great.

Pellican Parts used to sell a combo guage kit that had everything you need.
Called it a 904? It's NLA.

yes- but that doesnt deal with 4 cylinder cars- and i was gonna do the same in my console bernbomb-

Yep $425 for the f-ing gauge. North Hollywood wants about $100 more.

But I figure that the triple gauge kit that Pelican had was about $125 plus $50 to $75 for the gauges needed for the kit plus $50-$60 for the correct senders. You're at $200 to $250 and then the time/labor needed to put the damn kit together.

I tried the kit a few years ago and f-ed up one of the gauges I used and had to find another.

And I don't have the right crimper for the bezel... blah blah!

The gauge they make uses all new components (not the normal combo and fuel gauge modules)... blah blah!

But, I'm also getting some custom coloring stuff done as well.

I will have a list of the gauges and the senders that are required for each. I will publish it and post a link. That guage should work. I went to the 904 style gauge and built it myself. $425 for the gauge and senders is worth it. I have a gas gauge that you could install in a center console that I no longer need.

Geez.....I sent three gauges to them....had them white face em, recalibrate the speedo, put a different range on the tach....400 bucks. Dude, they be hosing ya......

Is that a gauge outright? Or did you ask what the price was to convert what ya have.....?

It's not a gauge made from standard 911 and 914 gauges. It's an all new gauge (outright) made from new VDO modules. Even the housing is custom.

I talked to PA Speedo, to have my speedo and tach recalibrated, and new faces painted... they estimated 800.00.
