Hey guys, I am trying to fine tune my dual carbs 34 ict's. I finally got her running today. I had some clogged jets. Now I have her back together and started.

I am using the set up recommended by Weber (Redline) to get started. For those out there that have a 1.7, I would like to hear what your running on yours. Mixture screw and speed screw setting in particularly.

Thanks

Not sure this addresses your question specifically but here is a good link on the 914world website regarding 34ICT Carbs WEBER 34ICT CARBS

Ran these on T1 engine with great result, they have small venturies so don't make a lot of top end but run well in street driving range with good torque and reasonable economy.
I ran small main and idle jets because my engine was small bore, did you buy this kit from Redline ? if so they should be pre-jetted for your motor ,your mixture screws need to be 2.5 turns out if your idle jets are correct, thinking 55-60 and your mains will be 130-135...ballpark from memory.
Easy to set up with the right tools,tune/balance them with the linkage arms disconnected then wrestle with that to get it right,if you have crossbar overhead linkage be patient as they are hard to get even...the bellcrank system works WAY better with these.
Oh and keep your fuel pressure around 3 psi you will be good and make sure the manifold balance hose is connected they seem to like that.
Good luck.
