Britt: It is SUMMER now.
Here in Phoenix it was one hundred and fourteen degrees today, (in the shade).
Let this one go till at least fall....

P.S. Studded snow tires were always the "hot set-up" in Detroit, but do not get caught with them still on in the spring.

go cheap. get some used plain jane steel wheels, degrease, scuff em' up, rattle can silver. 165/15 SNOW tires on all 4 corners, not all season, and get studs. leave them mounted the other 9 months.

So, I was thinking... What if I installed THESE on my 914?
Made me think of motorcycle ice racing. Fortunately, not TOO many guys who crash get ran over each year...

Why are you worring about driving in the snow???? Evryone knows your car won't stay running that long.
