I'll be replacing my broken Terrycable due to the fact that I didn't set the pedal stop on the pedal board.

What's the best way to do this?

My understanding is somebody ( McMark ) lays under the car and tells me when the clutch lever has reached full throw. Set stop to that point.

Any other tech tips for a solo set-up?

Thanks, club.

Pedal stop? I gotta go look I don't think I have one for the clutch.
I know I can adjust the length of the clutch pusrod. so it is even with the other pedals. idea.gif

I don't have a pedal stop on my clutch, i've always heard that the pedal stop is the board itself.

If I remember right it is a block of Rubber on the board.

I took the old cable out and discovered how I ruined it mad.gif

I had a very sharp angle on the cable right as it exited the tube on the firewall. I did this to create a nice tight bundle zip tied to the engine oil line. Speedo, accel, clutch.

In doing so the cable was sawing itself in two on the flexible sheathing where the cable goes in. headbang.gif

It was not a stretching due to adustment at all.
Live and learn. The cable needs to come out of the firewall straight and stay "relatively" straight.

All done. All better.
Nice test drive.

Was cruising on a back road at 5500 rpms in third.
Scared some people out on a walk. lol2.gif

I'm sure it sounded like some freak going 100mph from a distance.
After I passed them I dropped into 4th and just cruised...
