I take exception to the Real Wood Dash comment..

My car has a real wood dash and has had it since new.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

911 style dash.

I take exception to the 911 style dash comment. I like the extra gauges.

I did do super thin veneer of burl wood in place of the vinyl. I went to house of hardwood and glued it right to the metal panels. Came out great. Center console as well.

It was a little before 1980 but a good friend (and well-known Porsche mechanic in the midwest) designed a turbo system for my '71 with water injection and side draft carb. Actually worked pretty well (though the turbo lag resembled the 930) for a few years until some seals blew out.
It made it from IA to Porsche Park at Road America several times with no major issues. Always got a lot of looks in Porsche Park with a turbo insignia on the back panel.
