That is 100% true. I have a spade connector on a short piece of wire that I use when hooking a remote starter button to Betty's car. It is far easier than crawling underneath.

@ClayPerrine Could you post a sketch schematic, wire gauge and type of switch? I’d really like to do this “hack” but don’t want to fry something.
