Hello,

I was hoping someone on here might be able to identify these wheels. There are no marks on them that I can find.

Rears are dished more than the front, different offset front and rear. 16inch wheels.

Sorry for the not so perfect photo, if needed I can get it out of the garage for some close ups tomorrow.

welcome.png Those are Fuchs. Appear to be 7x16 front, 8x16 rears. Not stock on a 914, but came on lots of 911’s..

Thank you, I have been lurking for a little while as I have been fixing all the little previous owner surprises in the engine bay.

I thought Fuchs would have some kind of foundry? marks on them. Do you know what years they would have been used on the 911?

If real Fuchs, there's little "fox" markings on the inside. Those look like 16" wheels, definitely not 15".

Real Fuchs will have this Fox logo Click to view attachment on the backside of one of the spokes.
A part number, the size and backspacing may also be included.

They were available from 1967 to 1989.

Those look to be real, backside markings will look like this. The fox logo is below the “7” of the part number, it should be in the vicinity of the part number or somewhere on the hub. It’ll also have a triangle with two letters inside as you can see by the wheel size stamping.

Interesting, I will pull a couple and see if I can find that. I don't remember seeing any markings but I was looking for something larger.

You might have to clean decades of brake dust... I'd like more pictures of that car too.
