I may need to ponder this...i looked for a long time as well, found mine earlier this year, out of Austria. there was another set listed here and sold, i missed it by minutes!, but the seller knew of someone that had a set there, he was able to acquire it for me and ship it over. He also had another set but was not in such good condition. I dont think you'll find a nice set like Cal's or mine for $1k, but i could be wrong, but dont give up hope it just might come up . I know that Mark Whitesell has one and i think eventually they are going to do a run of these, but they have a lot of irons in the fire so dont hold your breath

Just a word of thanks to fellow member John Lush, who sold me a PHENOMENALLY nice Karo ski rack. The rack was complete with original hardware, straps, rubber, and even instructions! It was a smooth transaction with no drama. Thanks John!!!

Thanks Dr. Phil, I made the brackets myself. I have to revisit them and make them in steel since the aluminum vibrates too much while driving.
