Does anybody happen to know the gauge of the sheet steel on the front hood, please?

Very cool to see that. I didn't realize there were different thicknesses for the fender vs the lids. I knew there were some bits that are thicker.

I ran the pic through ocr trace and google translate and did a few corrections/guesses to get this

LID

The door is locked after the security button has been locked by pulling out the button on the outside handle during the 'locking' process.
