I think last time I did it I had the axle off at the trans stub. Fitted it into the hub and then bolted it on to the trans.
Maybe drop the trailing arm out of the car to get the angle you need.
Yup that will be the next step after the pipe.. just didn't want to mess with more alignment stuff..
To avoid any alignment issues, I drilled a 1/4" hole up thru the arm mounting part up into the body so i could pin it into place on re-attachment. (assuming alignment was good initially)
That's an idea. I will think on that.
Seems the starter removal paired with my guide tube should do the trick. It's much easier to install for the initial build.
This winter it's getting an upgrade.
