I have been fighting a new MC from 914Rubber. I put it on the bench last night with output ports plugged and the reservoir connected with vinyl tubes in the MC grommets and a fuel line rubber tube pressed on the reservoir. No leaks overnight.

I installed the MC in the car with the output ports plugged. I used fuel hose on the plastic tube with hose clamps and pressed the fuel hose over the reservoir ports. Leak was detected where the fuel hose was attached to the plastic tube.

So, where do I get official blue hose for the reservoir to plastic tube adapter? I thought I saw it someplace, but I can't remember where.

Thanks for any help in sourcing the hose.

This place has it:

OEM https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/99918102150

Aftermarket https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/JP-8161600800

Note the ID is 0.5mm smaller for the aftermarket.

Other vendors have it and you should call a Porsche dealer, sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised.

I remember this topic from some time ago. May be available in black now. But if Auto Atlanta has it blue, then go for it. No too easy to find in stock these days.

Thanks to all who responded.

I found the hose part number in the Stoddard catalog. Great resource for $5.
PN is 999.181.021.50

Best price I found was 5150 Racing. About $60 for a meter of hose, delivered.

I will post the result of installing it when it arrives.

There’s also Belmetric, they sell by the foot. This is 7mm id, however.

The hose I received is blue with black fabric wrap. It worked perfectly and fixed that leak.

I have ordered two new grommets for the MC as one of them was leaking during bench testing. I do hope that is the last gremlin.
