OK so I have a late 71, 1.7l with Dellorto twin carbs and have just fitted a 123 ignition distributor which you have to adjust the setting with a small screwdriver. I've set mine to 2 out of a choice of around ten settings, it works OK but I'm wondering if anybody else has done this exercise and what they came up with?

Jim, a 2056 1.8 confuses me. Is it a 1.8L with 96mm pistons, and 2.0L crank?

Yeah. Ljet makes an arguably better fuel injection base for a 2056 then Djet.

Best bet for the money is a chassis dyno with an O2 meter
Otherwise, set it and test it aka seat dyno
