Hello! Im wondering if its possible to use a boxster transaxle with a 911 motor and/or my current 2.2l 4 cyl. Any advice? Thanks!

Boxster transaxles don't have a provision for mounting a starter so if you're looking to use an engine that doesn't mount the starter, you're on your own to modify the bell housing area and fabricate your own solution. It's been done but it's not trivial.
Subaru transaxles carry the starters so they may be an option.
Kennedy Engineering makes adapters for many combinations so maybe check out their website and see if there's a combo that meets your needs.
If cost is not the most important thing, they'll make you an adapter kit for almost any combination.
Best of luck!

I have done it. It is NOT easy. You can read all about it here: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=279084

I know there is one other air cooled 914 with a Boxster 5 speed in it. I saw it at Amelia Island in Florida. There are a few V-8 conversions with it. It is not so bad on a Chevy motor.
