The short story is my a couple of weeks ago, ‘76 914 headlights/buckets,Hi-Lo beams
Really got ‘wonky’ with various combos happening when I pulled the switch out. I got a replacement switch to try out. ‘Enter’ my good intentioned bud……. Who disconnected all the wires from the unit before I could take a picture. The cars been totally rewired so the color codes don’t match the scematic at all. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE “END USE” destination from each of the “pins”. on the switch……TksClick to view attachment

He helped me wire my current 914.
The wiring is different between early and late cars, and I am not sure about a '76.
I probably have 4 or 5 switches in my bag of tricks. I can pull one out is you need another pic.
Do you have a HAYNES? (wiring diagram)
