New flathead for the 29 Model A arrived today, Chevy S10 5 speed goes behind that and then an open driveline and a Halibrand Quick change rear end.

Cool.. Tilton gear reduction starter.

I read your thread about needing the 5 speed.. IF..IF you had said that it was for this.. I would have located one for you (I thought you had an S-10 that needed one..LOL)

Very Nice. beerchug.gif
Why is it that so many rodders put Chevy running gear in Fords, and vice-versa? headbang.gif
If it's an Offenhauser it must be fast. Right? MDB2.gif

24 stud and water moved up front, so it's a later motor. It's reddish-so it's probably not a merc. Are they strombergs on top?
What size is it?

It sure is perdy!
where'd ya get it?

I really like it Craig!!! boldblue.gif boldblue.gif boldblue.gif

I will still take an S10 5 speed, 85-92 Pickup or Blazer. Cornhuskers or Wilcap have adapter kits for the conversion.
It flew all the way in from Greenville NC, on FORWARDAIR it has been vatted and maged ,no cracks. All internal parts are new, seller sent pics of internals, Holly carbs, Offy heads and manifold, Hi torq starter. Came with stand with wheels, the specs are on a sheet at Camp I can't remeber them off hand. It has Por 15 red paint on the block, as you can see.
I wanted to keep my Ford as much of a Ford as I could. I also like the more traditional look. I might even have to remvoe my side hood panels just to show off this motor, it is perty.

I have a book (180 pages) that has the plans and blueprints for building a 1/4 scale Offy...

It's on my 2-do list of projects smile.gif

If you have a few grand extra, you can buy one already built:

Craig,

On my 2-do list is a 29 roadster on 32 rails with a flatty, done late 40's-50's style retro.
